Job Description:
Elite Home Solutions, a locally-based remodeling company in Kauai, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remodel Technician to join our team. If you have minimal experience we can train you on the job, or if you have a broad range of remodeling experience and are ready to take on more responsibility, we want to hear from you! You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed tasks in carpentry, framing, cabinetry, flooring installation, tiling, appliance installation, drywall, painting, basic electrical, and basic plumbing.
- Interpret and execute project plans and blueprints.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on the job site.
- Maintain and operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ensure project timelines are met and work is completed to high standards.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide guidance as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in carpentry, framing, cabinetry, flooring installation, tiling, appliance installation, drywall, painting, basic electrical, and basic plumbing.
- Own a complete set of tools necessary for the job.
- Own a vehicle for transportation to job sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must have a smartphone.
- Must wear all black and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check with no active felony convictions and drug test (Medical Marijuana acceptable).
- No drugs or alcohol permitted on job sites.
- Must be a local resident of Kauai.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cabinetry, flooring installation, tiling, and appliance installation.
- Some knowledge of project planning and design.
